Besties since 2020, though honestly? If we’d met sooner, we would’ve been inseparable long before that.
Despite growing up 1,800 miles apart—Bri just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Dana just outside of Phoenix, Arizona—we somehow lived eerily similar lives. We both spent our childhoods in competitive dance, spent our teenage years at every pop-punk show and Warped Tour possible, and, to this day, you’ll still catch us in band tees, Vans, and screaming every word to All Time Low and The Maine on the barricade at every concert we can get to.
Photography has been a part of our stories for just as long. We both learned on 35mm film in high school before eventually diving into the wedding world. After meeting at a (very questionable) retreat in 2020, we knew two things: we were going to be lifelong best friends, and the photography world needed a better community.
Fast forward to today, and we’ve built The Roam Collective Co.—a retreat experience we wish we’d had when we were starting out. A space for photographers to connect, learn, and grow without the competition and cliques. A place where you can find your people while building a business you love.
Now, as long-distance besties, we spend basically every day on FaceTime—whether it’s planning the next Roam retreat or counting down the days until our next flight to see each other.
Oh, and when we’re not running retreats? You’ll probably find us grabbing Dutch Bros, getting new tattoos (we have three matching ones so far and even one for each other lmao), or planning our next concert trip.

ABOUT THE ROAM
FUN FACTS
Come join us on the adventure—we promise, it’s a good one.
Building a thriving wedding photography business is about more than just capturing beautiful moments—it’s about the community you build along the way.
Surrounding yourself with like-minded photographers gives you access to invaluable support, knowledge, and inspiration. From sharing resources to exchanging feedback, having a strong network isn’t just helpful—it’s essential.
At The Roam, we create that space for you—a place where you can learn, grow, and connect with fellow wedding photographers who truly get it.
Our goal is simple: to give every photographer the confidence they need to show up as their best self for their clients.
But our support doesn’t stop when the retreat ends. Even after you leave The Roam, we’re still here for you—ready to help, answer questions, and cheer you on whenever you need it.
Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just a retreat—it’s a community that lasts.

The right portfolio doesn’t just showcase your skills—it speaks directly to the clients you want to work with.
After years of attending content experiences ourselves, we realized that most of them don’t feel super realistic. The setups are beautiful, but they often scream “styled shoot” rather than an authentic wedding day. That’s why every shoot at The Roam is designed to feel as realistic and true-to-life as possible. From natural posing to intentional details, we curate every element with the goal of helping you build a portfolio that reflects what real couples are actually booking.
When you show what you want to shoot, you attract the clients who want exactly that.
At The Roam, our retreats are about so much more than just the photoshoots. They’re about building a community—one where photographers can truly connect, learn, and grow together. Each retreat is a chance to share experiences, exchange ideas, and inspire one another in a supportive, collaborative environment. The friendships formed here don’t end when the retreat does—they become a lasting network of peers who uplift and empower each other throughout their creative journeys. Because at the end of the day, The Roam isn’t just about content—it’s about connection. And that’s what makes it a truly transformative experience.
I’ve been photographing weddings, couples, and elopements for over three years now, and if there’s one thing that will never change—it’s that I’m a desert girl through and through.I was born and raised in the scorching Arizona heat, but life has taken me on quite the adventure. In 2017, I moved to Louisiana with my husband when he joined the Air Force. We later relocated to North Dakota in 2022 before finally making our way back home to Arizona in 2024—just in time to welcome our beautiful baby girl, Rhya.
Some fun facts about me:
-Pasta is my love language. Specifically, fettuccine alfredo with broccoli.
-I have two pups, Apollo & Zero. (Moo, rest easy big guy—you’re missed always. 🤍)
-I’m married to the man of my dreams, and I couldn’t be happier.
-Dr. Martens & Vans are basically the only shoes I wear.
- I stopped counting my tattoos after my finger tats… but I’m well past 30.
I’ve been a full-time wedding photographer since 2018, capturing love stories with a classic, minimal, and documentary-style approach. I’m based in Nashville, TN, but I spend a lot of time back in my hometown of Cincinnati, OH—so you’ll usually find me hopping between the two. Over the past two years, I’ve been niching down my brand to move into the high-end wedding world, focusing on timeless, intentional storytelling. And in 2024, I got to live out my own love story—marrying my soulmate in Joshua Tree, our favorite place in the country. 🤍
Some fun facts about me:
- I’m obsessed with good coffee. (Like, truly. It’s a personality trait at this point.)
- Like Dana, I stopped counting my tattoos after my finger tats (which, fittingly, we got at the same time). I have no clue what number I’m at now.
- I married my soulmate in Joshua Tree. Best day ever.
- I’ve been to 49 states! Alaska is the last one on my list.
- I’m obsessed with my cat, Mango. And he definitely knows it.
I’ve been a licensed makeup artist and hair stylist for 15 years-over 10 of which were dedicated to traditional weddings in the Baltimore, Washington D.C. area. A few years back I packed it all up and headed to the Pacific Northwest with very little plan and everything changed. Since making Oregon my home, I specialize in adventure elopements-even the gnarly extreme ones, micro-weddings and mini-monies. My working style is a little grunge, a little granola, and glam always.
Some fun facts about me:
- Dave Grohl is my Taylor Swift.
- I’m an astrologer and tarot card reader.
- I married my scuba dive buddy and we love diving all over the world together.
- My favorite city in the world is New Orleans and I will get there any chance I get.
- I have the world’s naughtiest Labrador retriever. His name is Radar James O’Reilly.
